In 1972, PROMEX S.A. created the first International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products of Geneva. In 2012, the company will organise the 40th edition of this annual event, recognised as the world’s most important and which attracts 60’000 visitors and 650 journalists from the international press. The Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva welcomes more than 700 exhibitors from 45 countries each year and is placed under the patronage of the Swiss Confederation, of the State and City of Geneva, as well as of the World Intellectual Property Organisation - WIPO, and of many national and international organisations. www.inventions-geneva.ch
PROMEX S.A. and its employees have received several significant rewards or prizes, awarded by many organisations and governments, for example WIPO, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Swiss Union of Press Officers, etc.
During the years, PROMEX S.A. has organised other well-known events in Geneva: the Exhibition Art & Creation, the International Exhibition of Hobbies, the Exhibition of New Varieties of Plants, Ikebana, Japanese Gardens and Bonsaïs Exhibition, the Exhibition of Creative Jewellers of Geneva, the Professional Wood Market, Geneva’s Watches and Jewellery Exhibition, International Exhibitions of Orchids and several seminars on venture capital, new varieties of plants and medicine.
PROMEX S.A. was nominated as expert for missions by WIPO to Burkina Faso, Brazil, Libya and Senegal, assumed other international mandates as counsellors in the organisation of competitions and exhibitions in Italy, Romania, Canada, Monaco, China, Russia, Kuwait, Korea, etc.

Multilingual management of associations, including organisation of data bases, committee meetings and General Assemblies, members and future members, accounts, public relations with the authorities, people and the public. Follow-up with the media and advertising.
Creation of events
Establishing files for future sponsors, financial support. Practical aspects of organisation of the event, general administration, coordination of speakers, reservations, suppliers. Welcoming the people invited and/or participants, organising hotel accommodation, meals and any extra activities. Promotion of the event.
Organisation of exhibitions
Help with the establishing of budgets and documents, recruiting exhibitors, attracting visitors, advice and help, choice of the most convenient infrastructure, complete or partial organisation of exhibitions. Management of media operations, planning and construction of stands, preparation of stands or of the space to be occupied, recruitment and information for hostesses. Accounts of the exhibition. Practical organisation and transport, access and parking facilities, security in collaboration with the exhibition centre. Coordination with the different suppliers and representatives.
Communication
Establishment of a marketing strategy, of the advertising concept, management of the campaign and strategic advice in the choice of media. Creation and mailing of documents.
